Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, protect and share information from funding applicants — including bank statement data, the public FMCSA records we retrieve ourselves, and your rights under state privacy law.
1. Who we are
Linehaul Capital has its principal place of business at 9719 S Dixie Hwy #8, Miami, FL 33156. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Linehaul Capital.
This policy describes how we collect, use, protect and share information when you visit this site, apply for commercial financing, or hold an account with us. It covers applicants, guarantors, owners of applicant businesses, and referring partners.
2. What we collect
Business identity
Legal name, DBA, Employer Identification Number, MC and USDOT number, entity type, state of formation, business address, business phone and email, and years in operation.
Owner identity
Name, home address, date of birth, Social Security number, ownership percentage, and government-issued identification where required for identity verification.
Financial data
Business bank statements, deposit history, average daily balances, negative-day and NSF counts, existing debt and advance schedules, accounts receivable ageing, and where applicable tax returns, profit-and-loss statements and balance sheets.
Public record data we retrieve ourselves
FMCSA operating authority status, authority grant date, power-unit count, safety rating, out-of-service history and insurance filings, obtained from FMCSA SAFER and the FMCSA Licensing & Insurance database. We also retrieve UCC filing records from Secretary of State databases. This data is public, we retrieve it at our own cost, and you are not asked to supply it.
Device and usage data
IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL and timestamps. This site runs no third-party advertising or analytics tags.
Referral source
The referral code attached to the link you arrived through, and the identity of the referring partner where one exists.
3. How we collect it
- Directly from you, on the application and in conversation with a funding specialist.
- From your bank, via secure statement upload or a bank-data aggregator you explicitly authorise.
- From public FMCSA and Secretary of State records.
- From consumer and commercial credit bureaus, where you have authorised a pull.
- From a referring ISO or broker partner who submitted your file with your authorisation.
4. How we use it
- To underwrite, price, fund, service and collect commercial financing.
- To verify your identity and the identity of beneficial owners, and to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, customer identification requirements and OFAC screening.
- To detect, investigate and prevent fraud.
- To communicate with you about your application and your account. Contact is initiated by a person; we do not run automated marketing sequences to applicants.
- To meet legal, regulatory, audit and record-retention obligations.
5. Full SSN and EIN handling
Full Social Security and Employer Identification numbers are stored encrypted in a dedicated secrets vault, segregated from the application record. Display surfaces show the last four digits only. Access to a full value is role-restricted and every access is logged.
Full values are never written into application records, activity logs, audit detail, or any automated or AI-assisted analysis. No artificial-intelligence system we operate receives a full SSN or EIN.
6. Who we share with
- Our bank and SBA lending partners, when you apply for a product they originate, or where a file cannot be funded in-house and you have been told it is being presented.
- Service providers under contract — bank-data aggregation, identity verification, electronic signature, document storage and payment processing — each bound to use the data only to perform the service.
- Your referring partner, limited to submission status and offer terms. A referring partner does not receive your bank statements or your Social Security number.
- Regulators and law enforcement, on lawful request or where required by law.
- A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
7. Credit reporting
When you authorise it, we may obtain consumer or commercial credit reports on the business and on owners or guarantors. Approved and funded accounts may be reported to commercial credit bureaus. For invoice factoring we do not run personal credit at all; we evaluate the credit of the broker or shipper who owes the invoice.
8. Retention
Funded accounts: the term of the agreement plus seven years.
Declined and withdrawn applications: twenty-five months, consistent with record-retention requirements under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act and Regulation B, after which the record is deleted.
9. Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, logged access to sensitive fields, least-privilege service accounts, and segregation of the secrets vault from the operational database. No control is perfect; we do not claim that transmission over the internet is absolutely secure.
10. Your rights
Subject to verification and to legal exemptions, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, a portable copy, and confirmation of whether we sell or share personal information — we do neither.
Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and Delaware have rights under their state privacy statutes, including the right to opt out of sale and of targeted advertising, and the right to appeal a refused request. California residents additionally have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising a right.
To exercise a right, call (888) 896-5559 or write to us at the postal address below. We verify requests by matching the information in the request against the information already in our records, and may ask for additional confirmation where the request concerns sensitive data. We respond within 45 days, with one permitted 45-day extension where the request is complex; we will tell you if we take it. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission.
Note that much of the information we hold is business information rather than personal information, and that records we are required to retain under financial, anti-money-laundering or credit regulation cannot be deleted on request.
11. Cookies
This site sets a small number of first-party items used only to keep your session consistent and to remember a referral code so that attribution is not lost between pages. We run no third-party advertising tags, no analytics CDN, no chat widget and no social pixels. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; the informational content of this site works fully without them and without JavaScript.
12. Children
This site and our products are directed to businesses. They are not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above and, where required, communicated directly.
